Well this is disheartening... between Home Depot, Sprint/Nextel, John Deere, and others, a combined
50,000 jobs were lost today. Yup, you read that correctly-- fifty thousand.
In better news (sorta?) you don't have any Modern World homework tonight, unless you didn't finish reading Chapter 17, Section 5 (The End of WWII). Tomorrow we'll pick up where we left off with notes for that section.

a little off topic but what was that anime movie where the 2 little kid's parents are in the bombing of japan and the kids have to wonder around? i cant remember the name and its driving me nuts!

ReplyDeleteYou've probably figured it out by now, but the movie you are thinking of is "Grave of the Fireflies". You should be able to find it no problem on Netflix or through the library!
